Avodah – Evenings of Intimate Worship and Prayer.
Avodah (עֲבוֹדָה) is a special Hebrew word with a unique meaning. It means worship, work, and service. Exodus 8:1 says, “This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship (avodah) me.”
In our community, we wanted to offer times for intimate worship and prayer, not constrained by the time limits of Shabbat morning. We want to be a people who invest time in simply being in God’s presence, giving Him that place in time to work in us personally and corporately.
Our Avodah nights are the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 7-8:30pm at our regular location. The 1st Thursday has a prayer focus and the 3rd Thursday has a worship focus.
No childcare provided.
**Avodah nights have been suspended until November.**
