The Vision of Kehilat Yeshua

To build a thriving Messianic Jewish community in the Treasure Valley that supports, encourages, and strengthens each other, and serves as a light for Messianic Judaism in the Treasure Valley and beyond.

The Formation & History of Kehilat Yeshua

Kehilat Yeshua is a young congregation, formed in 2015. Unlike many new faith communities, Kehilat Yeshua wasn’t planted – it was pioneered.

HaShem began planting seeds of a desire to form a congregation in Mark and Judy in 2012, shortly after moving to Idaho. But it wasn’t until the fall of 2015 that He birthed Kehilat Yeshua, giving them the “go-ahead” to launch the ministry that had been growing deep roots in their hearts.

Kehilat began in Mark and Judy’s home in Middleton with 6 adults. We started first as a weekly Torah study (very similar in structure to the Torah study we still have now), and slowly developing into the service that we now have. In the spring of 2017, we moved to Meridian, meeting in a small church building. There we grew for a year, until doors were opened for us to move into our current facility at Grace Foursquare.

In the spring of 2018, after two years of study, Mark received his minister’s license from the International Foursquare Church.

In the spring of 2019, Kehilat Yeshua was accepted into the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues (IAMCS).

As we look forward into the future, we hope to continue growing in depth through maturity, and in width through leading others into the kingdom of heaven and bringing lone messianic believers into community.

We hope that in time we will have the ability to build our own shul, with a family life center, beit midrash, and mikveh, offering a beautiful and life-changing encounter with HaShem for Messianic believers in the Treasure Valley and beyond.
